David A. Tillson, CFA
Mr. Tillson formed Eagle Ridge Investment Management, LLC in August
2008 and serves as its President, Managing Partner and Chief Investment
Officer. Prior to Eagle Ridge, Mr. Tillson was a Principal and Senior
Vice President of Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, LLC. He was also President
of CRM Private Client Group responsible for investments for high net
worth individuals and a co-manager for the CRM Large Cap Opportunity
Fund. Prior to joining Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, Mr. Tillson was Managing
Director and head of Personal Investments in New York for U. S. Trust
Company responsible for the Wealth Management Group and Wealth Advisory.
He was a member of the companys Portfolio Policy Committee, Common
Trust Fund Committee, National Wealth Management Oversight Committee,
Relationship Review Committee and the Schwab Management Team Council.
Mr. Tillson received his B.A. in 1971 from Brown University and his
MBA in 1974 from New York University. A Chartered Financial Analyst,
Mr. Tillson is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts
and the CFA Institute. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees
of The Heckscher Foundation For Children.
John J. Knox III, CFA
Mr. Knox co-founded Eagle Ridge Investment Management LLC in August
2008 as a Principal and senior investment officer of the firm. Prior
to joining Eagle Ridge, Mr. Knox was Managing Director and head of the Connecticut
Investment group for U. S. Trust Company. During his 13-year tenure
at U.S. Trust, from 1995-2008, he served as a member of the companys
Portfolio Policy Committee, the Open Architecture Investment Committee
and the Proxy Committee. Mr. Knox also co-managed two of the firms
proprietary mutual funds. Mr. Knox began his Wall Street career in 1985
with E.F. Hutton Asset Management where he served as a portfolio manager
overseeing high net worth client and institutional portfolios. Mr. Knox
received his B.A. in 1978 from Fordham University and his MBA in 1984
from Pace University. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Knox is a member
of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
Nicholas L. Frelinghuysen
Mr. Frelinghuysen joined Eagle Ridge in June of 2010 as a Principal and senior investment officer of the firm. Prior to joining Eagle Ridge, Mr. Frelinghuysen was Senior Vice President and co-head of All-Cap and Mid-Cap products for Allianz Global Investors’ Oppenheimer Capital subsidiary. Mr. Frelinghuysen served as lead portfolio manager for Oppenheimer Capital’s All Cap Equity and Mid Cap Core strategies, as well as co-portfolio manager of an open-end mutual fund in the Mid Cap value style. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, he spent five years as an equity research analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette following the electric utilities and telecommunications sectors. Mr. Frelinghuysen graduated from Princeton University with a BA in English and holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Steven Giacona
Steven Giacona is founder and managing member of Round Table Services,
LLC, a wealth management firm with offices in Westfield, NJ and Westport,
CT. A certified public accountant, he began his career in the tax
department at Coopers & Lybrand, specializing in personal financial
services. Mr. Giacona holds a B.S. in Accounting from Marist College
and a Master of Science in Taxation from Fordham University. Mr. Giacona
was ranked in Barron’s 2007 list of top 50 Registered Investment Advisors
and recognized in Worth Magazine’s 2007 Top 100 Wealth Advisors. He
is a member of the Economic Club of New York; serves on the Board
of Directors of Cryptolex, Inc.; and is a Trustee of the St. Paul’s
Episcopal Church Memorial Endowment Trust.
Fred Filoon
Fred serves as on the Advisory Board of Eagle Ridge. Fred recently retired from Cramer, Rosenthal, McGlynn (CRM). For the better part of the past twenty years Fred’s primary responsibility was leading the marketing efforts of the firm’s Private Client Group. Prior to CRM, Fred worked at Morgan Stanley Asset Management, Wood Struthers & Winthrop and Alliance Capital. He received a BA from Bowdoin College and attended New York University’s Business School. Fred served as Chairman of the Retirement Board of the Town of Greenwich and serves as a trustee of the Third Street Music School Settlement.
